I’ve started a new adventure! I’m teaching children in China how to speak English! It’s really fun, even though I have to get up super early. I’ve finally found something that I’m actually pretty good at! 🥰 The great part is, it’s something I can do while I still homeschool my kiddos! Yay! .

This week it’s bounced around between -25C to -40C all over the province this week. Besides a class we went to Monday morning it’s been complete hibernation mode! 🐻❄️🥶 .

Kayden had his first Chinese lesson today! He love

Kayden had his first Chinese lesson today! He loved it so much! ❤️ .

He was a bit nervous at first but the teacher really helped him open up! It was so awesome to watch him go from being slightly confused to opening up and really trying! .

This is just another reason why we unschool. There is no way I would have thought about teaching my children Chinese. Kayden decided he wanted to try it out after hearing that his friend was trying it. It’s so amazing to have the ability to learn a new language online from native speakers of that language! .

It’s not very often that Kayden and I got out to

It’s not very often that Kayden and I got out together but today while Emily is at a birthday party for a friend the boys and I popped out for a couple of things. .

While we were out I realized how much my first baby is grown. He kept asking me if he could get stuff and I kept explaining how he didn’t need it or how it he probably wouldn’t enjoy it even if it looks cool now. We settled on a small teddy and a pair of socks that he really liked. Then, we get to the till and he says to me, “no mom, I’m paying for my stuff.” Kind of shocked I asked him why he was asking me if he could get the stuff. “Because you’re pretty smart mom.” ❤️🥰 He may be growing up but he will always be my sweet little baby! .
